Very interesting blog Frogleap_Farm. The question I have is, if this isn't a trade secret is how do you about developing OP lines to produce F1's or is it a question of doing many many crosses and seeing what comes out?

I have a handful of stable lines with extraordinary flavor and interesting fruit phenotype, I make test crosses of promising F4 lines to my best stable inbreds to get an early look at their potential as parents in future hybrids. Other than that it is simple "per se" (i.e. phenotypic) selection within segregating lines for flavor, fruit quality and plant health. I'm just starting to augment the phenotypic selection with molecular markers.

I look forward to trying some of your crosses when they become available. I have no objection to good taste and resistance. OP, F1 whatever.
