Confession: I spend many quiet moments stimulating the sexual organs of my tomatoes, using an electric toothbrush. We call it giggling the tomato, and in a high humidity climate it improves the fall of pollen and fertilization of the flower. Now I am coming out: I am a tomasexual. Let's support our gardeners in their private shame, and not force tomasexuals into the dark any longer.

It seems to make a big improvement in tomato production in my garden. Also, searching for and shaking the flowers helps me notice bugs and disease early.

And I like see the little cloud of pollen, I know that blossom will set fruit and the plant is reasonably happy.
