What is the difference between Red grape and grape tomatoes
At the nursery I see plants being sold as "red grape" and "grape" tomatoes. Is there any difference?

to me a "grape tomato" is a shape. specifically an oval cherry. there are many varieties, mostly red but not all. "sugary" is and example as is "Christmas grape" The ones for sale I would guess would both be red oval cherries

The word grape is rather new and came about after Andrew Chu in FL first introduced the variety Santa, which started being called grape shaped by many. But small ones of that shape have been known for a very long time without being called a grape tomato. Right now in the fridge are some real red grapes from Chile, which I love. And the green seedless ones are also called grape tomatoes. Various of the red and green ones, seedless or not, origins different, can be round or grape shaped depending on the specific grape cultivars being grown. Carolyn
