frost tonight!!
not a newbe except here. been raising tomotoes 35+ years. but i have 1 problem tomarrow morning , i will leave to go to work at 6:00 am. we are expecting frost in low lying areas, my garden is in a extreme low lying area with no choice, i have 80 plants out and have 60 more always for reseve, which go out next week. i am sure it will frost, i could have covered with straw, or paper bags, all are blooming or allready have tomatoes on them. my plan is to be spraying them at 5:25 with warm water, i have done this before, but it has been on my off days, a little later in the morning .
just wondering what others would do under the same thing? |

Set up sprinklers overnight, then set a few old tires on fire around the garden early in the morning.
