Welcome to T'ville. Maybe your husband will understand some day. It is a matter of perspective.

Welcome Yvette! And yes, it's all perspective. Better get your husband hooked on garden tomatoes quick because if you hang around here for a while, you'll quickly learn that 16 isn't really that many...

Welcome, Yvette! Your husband will come around, especially if he likes what comes out of the garden! The rolled up leaves are probably just a stress response. I see that in lots of the varieties that I grow and it doesn't seem to make a difference- they still produce lots of tomatoes. Caspian Pink can be a shy producer in some conditions, though.

Default The Dread Tomato Addiction

Here's a link to a copy of an essay originally published in the February 1958 edition of Astounding titled "The Dread Tomato Addiction".

It's a good warning to all of us here at TV that we need to be careful about our potential tomato addictions .

I've been up for over an hour just waiting for enough light to get out and check my tomatoes. Oops it looks bright enough now. Bye.
