Bicolour Oxhearts

Besides the lovely but late Orange Russian 117, what other bicolour hearts are available? Are there any potato leaf bicolour hearts that you know of?

Everett's Rusty Oxheart is another RL bicolor but Tania's site lists it as late also. I think I remember a recent thread where this question was asked and someone mentioned a new small bicolor heart with "sweetheart" in the name...

I am growing one called Ivalde for the dwarf project. Check out the Ivalde forum under the Dwarf Project. I believe it is at the F4/F5 stage, so it may be a year or 2 away from release.

When I get the flux capacitor fixed on the DeLorean, I'll get back to you on the PL bicolour hearts, like yesterday.

Striped Sweetheart turned out to be a RL for me this year. I don't have fruit yet. I'm not sure if the plant is even out there in the garden. And, I don't know if it's striped (exterior) and/or a bicolour (interior)

Little Lucky Heart I do not classify as a heart.

I've got what may be a PL bicolour cherry show up this year (from Gajo de Melon seed). Maybe it will naturally cross with one of my PL hearts, this year. Where's Doc Brown when I need him?

I've grown a lot of varieties on your list, but none of them come close to being bi color hearts and without going back and checking to confirm, there are some that aren't even hearts as I remember.

And just noting for anyone that a bicolor means a second color that spreads upward from the blossom end, and that second color is found inside in the flesh as a marbling.

Striped varieties, with just striping on the outside are not bicolors, hearts or otherwise.

Hey Carolyn. Great news: The reason I asked is that I have a beautiful bicolour (yellow and pink) true heart, one of my potato leaf Ludmilla's pink heart x captain lucky F2's !!

Carolyn, and anyone else who may know; will this combination of so many recessive traits make it difficult to stabilize? Heart shape. Bicolour, potato-leaf...

I always thought recessive traits were easier to stabilize.
