Default Need help w/ pepper seed color

I noticed when I was cutting up several Padron pepper pods that one had seeds that were a different color from the rest. They were very dark beige, while all the other pods had nice clean almost white seeds. I threw them out, but wondered what could have caused this? Would you have thrown them away too?

Yes, I would discard any seeds that look "off". It could have been insect damage. Sometimes the holes they make are so small that it might not get noticed. It could have also been a disease.
