Sorry, Marsha. I'm starting the seeds in a 1020 tray with the matrix of small (1 1/2" X 1 1/2") inserts. After emergence of true leaves they will be repotted into the cheap plastic drinking glasses from the grocery store for transplanting to the garden.

I ended up using a 50-50 mix of MG Organic Potting Mix and LC1 Pro Mix today. I tried just the MG two days ago, but I found today, that I don't care for how hard it gets as it begins to dry. I'm still playing it by ear and trying to use what is sold by mom and pop shops locally.

I think that's called "potting up?" Anyways, I use whatever convenient commercial bagged potting soil I can get from the big box stores. Last year I used Miracle Gro and something locally produced called Hampton Estates.
