Robert- How scary! Glad to hear you are ok! We had something like a small tornado last year and it was terrifying. Scary to think you had 8 of them! Take care!! Stay safe!!

I'm glad you guys made it through okay.
I was watching the same storm you folks were watching. All it needed to do was track more north east and it would have been over us. For some reason, the DFW television stations don't pay any attention to the areas north of Denton. They seem to think we are in Oklahoma and their radar and weather reports never include us. I have to rely on the internet radar to get a clear picture of what may be coming our way. Weather Underground provides the best radar map for our area. We did get a lot of rain and a little wind but other than root rot, everything around here is okay. I'm hoping for a few days of sunshine now so my garden can soak up a little of the moisture. Ted |

Glad you cam through the bad weather okay. Hopefully not too much damage and as long as you are safe that is the important thing.
It is still a mess around here and it sounds like a beehive every day with all the chainsaws going but things will recover quickly and I hope it is the same for you. Bill |

This tree damage is a mile north of our house. What my camera wouldn't get a good picture of is how the water from Mustang creek was 6' over the bridge right down from that tree.

Glad your family made it through with minimal damage. That tree looks like it was twisted like an apple stem.

I am glad that you are safe. Material things can be replaced.
I hope that one day (soon) we develop a technology prevent disasters like these. Gardeneer |

Glad that you and your family are safe Robert.
It's amazing the destruction a tornado can create. We had one touch down a couple years back (when I lived in NC), less than a mile from my house. It actually bent a couple of street signs, to 90 degree angles. It was incredible to look at. -Jimmy |
