Leaping Dachshund Farms - 2015
Tim, our resident Dachshund, would like to present this years collection of tomatoes from Leaping Dachshund Farms in Manhattan Beach, CA. He's trying to control his unbridled enthusiasm. He's much more excited about digging holes than watching them grow.

Your plants look excellent and your logo is marvelous. Tim looks serious about his role in the project.

Does Tim have the same interest and energy as these Dachsunds have that I saw on Youtube just yesterday? Maybe not looking at that last picture of him.

Nice looking plants and I love your name and logo. I think Tim is just yawning because there's nothing left to do and everything is totally under control!

Welcome to TVille!! This thread makes me smile!
Love Tim and your logo. While he may not be overly enthused, the question is, did he dig the holes in the right spaces for planting those nice looking tomatoes?? Ginny |

Tim, I think I'm in love . I'm Jasmine, I have long blond highlights in my brown locks and here I am doing my favorite things below:
1) Looking at my fav treats Sungolds; 2) Waiting patiently for my owners to say "Okay!" 3) Eating them!! |

Jasmine is a very pretty Girl. Is she Chocolate and Tan too like Tim? She sounds like she's trained much better than Tim if she patiently waits for a command before eating her tomato treats. Tim has an extra dose of Dachshund stubbornness.

Yes she is a chocolate tan doxie. She's a mini, and not as Dachshund-ish as our older one that passed away more than a year ago.
That one, Peebee (hence my user name) was a classic Dachs, with the broad chest, short but sturdy legs, and the inability to be trained to do much. He ate everything on ground level or within reach vertically. So much so that I even had him tested for Pica, a condition where you eat unusual stuff. He tested negative and the vet told me he was just weird . Sticks, stones, socks, bed skirts, underwear, towels, money (both coins and paper) were fair game and would appear again a few days later in the garden as colorful poop. Jazzy on the other hand never had to be trained. She seems to understand what is wanted and just does it. Amazing! Our household can now leave things where they belong without fear of it being eaten and we have rugs and mats again. Please include pics of Tim when you post, he is absolutely gorgeous! |

Plants look nice and healthy. I melt when I see daschunds. I use to have two.
Last Auguest I rescued an 8 year old chihuahua, her name is Mia. I also want to get another daschund, either a rescue or puppy. |
