(Sigh) No - and as the days pass, it seems less likely. I've emailed and PMed Wild, and to no avail. The mind wanders and imagines the worst...
I hope Wild is OK and for whatever reason has been unable to follow up here...but truth be told we may never know. If anyone "knows" Wild beyond T'ville - the other place, for example - please encourage a return here with an update -even if it is something so terrible as "I forgot to water for the month of August" or "I was on cold pills and had a terrible weed whacker accident, from which Hazel didn't survive..." I'd be fibbing if I said I wouldn't be disappointed, but I'd also be glad to hear that Wild is OK... Now Bully, on the other hand, doesn't seem to have the patience of a sixth grade teacher, (as I do  ) so I can't promise that he won't begin the drawing and quartering process - but I'm pretty sure we can intervene in time... |

Hello folks.
I don't know what happened to WILDLIFE, but would happily welcome him back to this website let alone to this thread. I know he is a Tomato growing enthusiast as both he and i traded a lot of seed. He in California and I in Jersey, were sending the same mailing envelope back and forth. We were both wonder- ing and joking about how much cross country mileage we could get out of the ever wearing bubble pack we were sending to and fro. WILD, both you and I had sprung-up a nice cordial friendship, and I miss it as it was FUN!! JJ(missing sumthin' wild in me life)61 |

John -
Is he the only person to get fruit? Or is he the only one to get germination ? ~ Tpm

Yes,all seeds were distributed. As Carolyn tells us, when dealing with old seeds, there is really little sense in saving some for next year, just to be a year older and thus possibly even less viable. So Bully distributed them in lots of about 10 to the first 12-15 people who responded here.
And as I said, of all who tried, Wildlife was the only one to get germnation. |

What is the status on this, anyways? Did anyone ever get back in touch with Wild?

The yellow seeds were a dehybed sungold.
Yuck yuck, the taste was yuck. I have some pure seeds from the plant, I don't recommend them for human consumption. I have a few babies up Thanks to JJ, Bully, Earl, some knarly ugly sweetest mater you could ever slurp Been doing other things, I am avail for fun................ |

What kind of flower seeds are there? I also got a bunch of old packs from friends. I am hoping at least a few germinate.
