I went through just the A, B, and C of cherries at Tatiana's Tomatobase.
ABC Potato Leaf Ania Austin's Black Cherry Brandysweet Plum Brandywine, Cherry Cereza Amarillo Cerise Orange (looks like PL and RL at the same time) If I have time, I'll go through more of the D-Z. If the rest of the alphabet has so few as the A-C, my guess is that there are about 50-100 known PL cherries. Like PL hearts, so few as to make an attempt to trial them all. Gary P.S. I have a PL cherry (Gato De Melon) that a few people received in the experimental category of the MMMM swap. Seed came from a pack of Gajo De Melon, a RL cherry. |

Wow, I think I need to order them all .. Would like to concentrate on PL varieties in the years to come and see if there is extra vigor. Too bad I have all those RL varieties calling my name and vying for attention
