Hate that when it happens....such a bummer...especially when they're just starting to ripen.

However, I had one summer years ago where I was plagued with a pesky ground hog coming into the yard and eating off the plants in the containers. Darn thing would be quite brazen, nibbling on stuff he'd pilfer while standing less than 6' from me.

But I put some habaneros in among the tomatoes. Watched him bite into one and run for the bolt hole. Gotta love karma!
