Marsha, do you know the difference between ProMix BX and ProMix (I get this @ my local Menards http://www.menards.com/main/outdoors...53-c-10116.htm)?

Where do you get your ProMix BX?

Thanks!

Earthboxes, on the other hand, are definitely read-the-instructions kind of items. But there ARE instructions, so that's cool. I just bought my first one and set it up yesterday. So Marsha, or TNTiger, is it true that those with addictive personalities should avoid earthboxes?
Ummmmm . . . probably! I am a very skeptical person when it comes to believing big claims about products and I read about EBs for a couple of years before I bought one. When my first year pepper plants topped out at over 6ft tall I was hooked. My husband was thrilled to have "free" red peppers so he didn't complain when I bought more, and then a few more (they weren't *exactly* free as he well knew!).

James heres the manufacturer's page for Promix BX.the BX has mycorrhizae for biologic balanced root systems. I havent seen just Promix. There are other types of Promix such as HP for high Perlite.
There are also links to suppliers in your area, and most Ace hardwares carry it too.
