Default Extreme Bush Tomato? container size ?

Hi ,

Just looking to see what the experience was for Extreme Bush tomato.

I would really like to try a 2.5 gallon container .....but I think most people are going to say stick to the 5 gallon container .

Does anyone have any experience with these in various size containers ?

2.5 gallon pot might be big enough for a real tiny bush/dwarf.
Two years ago I grew some Sweet-N-Neat in the garden that I should've planted like in a 2.5- 3 gallon pot. They were real miniature.
As an experiment, I am growing ALL my dwarf vars in 4.5 gallon pots this . It is to early to tell how they will perform
If ever in doubt about pot size, choose a bigger one.

Well for quite a bunch I am getting the sense of what is best tomatoes for the

3, 5, 7 and 10 gallon and up and in ground Sizes.

I also stack containers sometimes as an extra boost so tomatoes can have more root mass and access more water .

I am trying to practice with ones that will do fine in a 2-2.5 gallon size and do not require

intense culture and attention to be successful.
