It's wet and chilly 45f here today, but at least everything is getting well watered by the 2+ inches of rain! I don't know how cold it got over night, but a walk through the garden showed happy looking plants with a lot of buds and a few blooms on the tomatoes. Hopefully we'll see sun and warmer temps tomorrow.

If you don't have access to free row cover, ask at a local farm/garden supply store if you have one nearby. They often sell it by the yard and it costs less, is thicker, and often wider than the stuff you get pre-packaged.

Last night was about 42° F here and the night before it was 35° but no frost because of cloud cover. It is supposed to warm up as the week goes on, supposed to get to 62° today but it's only 56° right now so I doubt we will make 62°. The tomato plants seem fine.

Sounds perfect, cjp1953.
We're having one more frost tonight, then we'll turn the corner I hope. If nights are in the mid 40's and days mid 60's, I'll probably stick those extra tomatoes in the ground and see what comes.

After duking it out with frost in a shed, they'll probably think they're in heaven.
