First offered by Johnny's Select seeds and what isn't said there is that it was developed by Johnny's (Robert Johnston) wife. I like it as well, but there are many cuke varieties that I like, from the miniature ones to the long Armenian ones, all of which are out there in containers in my backyard right now, the armenian ones have a two sided wooden ladder for them to climb on when they get motivated. I happen to think that Johnny's is one of THE best seed sites around. I used to send their garden manager tomato seeds for trial and so did Craig L ( nctomatoman). For those interested in the background of the company here it is and I know I was in Colorado when I got one of those first small flimsy paper catalogs. http://www.johnnyseeds.com/t-history.aspx Carolyn
