A picture of my tomato patch
I'm quite chuffed that a picture of my tomato patch can be found on this website:
http://www.abc.net.au/tv/cookandchef/txt/s1871210.htm This was taken a month ago and it was at its peak. A picture taken today would be quite miserable. The season is nearing its end. Anyway, enough of this bragging. Can't wait to see how much of my tomato patch will be shown on tonight's show. |

I can't wait to see the show either Spatz! It's great that they could see some decent plants and fruits The pic of your patch looks very promising for an interesting segment tonight - only 2 hours to go!!

Congratulations on your TV debut!! I really enjoyed your segment Spatz, and your tomato patch looked great! Glad that you mentioned there are thousands of varieties, which should blow the minds of all the supermarket red tomato shoppers who watch the show
Wish they had shown a couple more views of the rolling hills, and a view back up to your house, but I guess time is extremely limited in favour of the recipe preparation part of the show. I would've liked to see Simon (the chef) do something with the heirlooms as well as Maggie (the Cook) Next time eh? PP
