Persimmon vs russian persimmon
I have a question;
Is persimmon and Russian Persimmon the same tomato. I read somewhere that it originated in Russia and then I read somewhere else that it was first grown by Thomas Jefferson. Then I noticed that someone refered to it as Russian Persimmon. So, I'm confused. Are there two kinds of Persimmon tomato?

Persimmon and Russian Persimmon are two different varieties. Persimmon is indeterminate with large fruits, fairly good taste. Russian Persimmon is determinate with med-small fruits (I haven't grown this one).
