I grow in the RGGS with 9 buckets/grow bags per 10 foot section, at this density I find it helpful to do some pruning early on. I live in Oklahoma and when the summer heat approachs 90 plus degrees I let the upper branches grow togrther, resulting in a canopy which provides some shading for when the temps hit 100 plus. This works well for me...just my 2 cents worth.
