And it was first known as Naples, not Napoli, which would be correct for a variety from Italy, same as the difference between Rome and Roma.

These days sometimes my fingers go faster than my brain does all b/c I'm so far behind with everything and can't seem to catch up.

The Amish have a proverb that I liked which said:

The faster I go the behinder I get.

I corrected it to Naples, not sure why I said Napoli! My brain is getting weirder all the time! But, you didn't think I was correcting you in that post, did you? I just wanted the person to see a photo and description in my photo thread, and told them the name( at least I thought!) that it was posted under.

On this same subject in 2016 I will try out the following
Please forgive my spelling if needed.

Opalka
Romeo
Santa Maria
Amish paste(not really a paste, but folks seem to like it)
Zapotec

I have tried
San Marzano (kind of OK)
San Marzano Redorta (My favorite, good taste fresh I grow it every year)
Costoluto Genovese (No taste in wet 2015)
Roma (always productive, but very hard with no taste)

My 2 cents
