Patti, thanks much for sharing the pictures. Could you please share rest of the pictures of your grow-outs with us?

Also, I would love to hear from other project volunteers regarding their feedback for the varieties I sent to them

I grew Kandil Bell Pepper, Corbaci Pepper, and Mehmet's Sweet Turkish Pepper this year. These peppers survived frequent temps in the mid 90's and extremely high humidity (76-77 dewpoints). Of the three, your Mehmet's was most productive followed closely by Kandil and third goes to Corbaci. I sent my extra seeds to friends living in the South who have trouble growing peppers. I put these on my keepers list.

Thanks for the feedback. Updated my notes on the project webpage. I am glad Mehmet's Sweet Turkish did well for your. This variety is consistently prolific. It keeps producing throughout the season. I think I harvested around 50 fruits from one plant, maybe more. I am also extremely happy that you shared seeds with your friends

Today I pulled the Kandil sweet pepper plant. Not because it had died or had stopped producing - in fact it had ten light-green to yellow peppers up to 2.5 inches long. BUT, it's November 12 and the 14th is the average date of first frost. It appears that we won't have that first frost for at least two weeks, but I have to start shutting down the summer garden.

Project still continues and keeps growing. In 2013, I started a seed company (Two Seeds in a Pod Heirloom Seed Co) to fund it and to become a full-time farmer, and I don't do any engineering work anymore.

I recently moved the project webpage to anatohum.org. Hopefully, I will have more time for site maintenance soon and I will start entering data. Thanks for asking!
