NOT Limbaugh's Legacy from my seed offer
Another Tviller sent me a notice that 10 out of 10 seeds from the Limbaugh's I sent, were all RL. These seeds were donated to the seed trade by a very kind and generous lady here, who also sent several others that I have had no complaints with.
Just to see, I started 5 seeds and let them grow to first true leaf stage, and sure enough, they all have regular leafs. I think we have an F1 on our hands. To those expecting Limbaugh's Legacy Potato Top, I am sorry for any inconvenience, and I will be happy to send you a replacement PL, something I thought was good, and I grew myself, since I don't have issues with accidental bee crosses due to the time of year I grow, and the scarcity here of Hallictidae and no Bumbles either. |

Marsha, Your kindness and generosity providing these seeds more than offsets the error. I am hoping to get one of the i.e. Faux Limbaugh's to produce as my curiosity has been aroused. Thanks for organizing the seed giveaway as it was no small feat to accomplish all that you provided!

I can help out with some seed of that variety if need be. I have seed I saved for a couple years, and also have seed that was obtained from Doug Oster several years ago. In all honesty I prefer the seed I have saved.

Marsha, I do not remember what seeds I sent you. If it came from me, I grew more than 40 varieties last year and my Fred Limbaugh was right in between Girl Girl's Weird Thing and Black Master. Both RL an both excellent varieties. At least as a consolation the fruits have to be tasty and plant productive. I apologies for the inconvenience.

Marsha.
Is that pic supposed to be of your correct seeds or the wrong seeds ?? I ask because several of those seeds actually ARE PL and a couple are a bit hard to determine at this stage. Not all PL are solid leaves. Many do have some breaks but they don't have serrations as RL have. For some we have trouble figuring it out even when the plants are "plant out" size. I have to rouge several plants out of some varieties I saw were wrong when we watered the other day. Carol |

Carol, these are RL, and I grew LLPT myself. It has simple PL, with entire margins. No mittens. These seedlings are incorrect for LLPT.

Sounds like the incorrect seeds will make a fantastic tomato. If you have any seeds to offer, I would sure like to get 4 or 5 of them.
