I think, "La Ninja" describes it better.

We have had 15 inches of rain since May. Its backed off the last couple days. The drought looks like it is over for most of Texas. I have been picking 30-50 tomatoes a day. My neighbors won't answer the door anymore if they see me with a bucket of tomatoes.

Went to Austin last weekend, the tomato patch did live past the weekend, which I didnt expect, however it seems I am now about done. Disease has taken over and I think its time to throw in the towel. But it gets worse. The dwarf project cherry tomato plants I just transplanted before my trip last weekend are now showing the same foliage disease. What ever it is, its in the soil and I fear my brand new raised garden bed and soil might all be unusable.

One exception: The principe borghese (not shown) is surviving with almost no obvious stress or disease.

I just trimmed a 5 gallon bucket crammed full of exactly what Ozone's pictures show. I've been doing it it every day out in our main garden.

Some time ago some folks moved into a nice house up the street.
They have a nice driveway two of them really.
And three entrances to their yard and house.
When they moved in they decided to put down decomposed granite.
They didn't stabilize it with Portland cement.
It washed out.
They did the same thing again last year and it washed out again.
Several times I wanted to stop and tell them about how to use this stuff but didn't as I felt they would think I was some sort of kook.

Now they have a blacktop driveway.
They had spent a lot of time and money on the other stuff but never did it right to begin with.
You would think the people that put it down would have known better.
I hope they did the blacktop right or they will have the same problem sooner or later.

I remember the joke going around in Oklahoma last summer was: "Remember, don't leave your car unlocked when you're at Wal-Mart, somebody will leave a big sack of squash in it.
