Tomato Cages - Goat Wire
Here is how my husband made my cages for me using goat wire. Goat wire is 4 ft tall. He cuts 16 squares and forms a circle bending the ends of the wire back to hook the wire together. He then splits another 16 square panel and adds two feet to the top. Now the cage is approximately 6 feet tall. The other half is used on another cage. Goat wire is galvanized so it won't rust like concrete wire. It has a nice opening (4 x 4 ) in it to reach in and pick tomatoes.
