Default Big Rainbow

So out of all my tomatoes this year the 1 big rainbow plant I am growing is behaving strangely, I have been trying to single stem due to space constraints but this plant throws out 3 to 4 suckers every time I prune 1, It has no flower trusses but looks really healthy. The stem is quite literally covered in new growth from the ground to the first set of leaves. I am probably going to just let this one bush out and see what happens but I figured I would ask.

I am growing 1 Big Rainbow and I pruned the suckers once when it was about 18" tall, since then have let it go. It has produced one ripe fruit and is loaded with about 25 with many starting to get pale, but no color change yet. It is very full and about 6' tall. The one fruit was low acid and had a mild taste and some sweetness. My wife and I both liked it, but I prefer a heartier more full flavored tomato flavor. One that bites back a little. Mine is in a raised bet and has been fed Tomato Tone twice and fish emulsion/liquid kelp about every 2 weeks. I don't know if this helps any questions but it's all I have.

i single stem, but this tomato seems to not want to be stemmed, just wondering if this was a classic trait? I also use TT, fish hydrosylate, and liquid kelp in my compost tea and also am growing in a raised bed.

I have grown Big Rainbow many times for SSE listings as well as for seed offers and also featured it in my Heirloom tomato book and never have had a problems with it.

Actually it's been one of my fave gold/red bicolors.

And no,I don't usually pune my tomato plants.
