Am now trying to fight leaf spot, early blight, and wilt - what a bear! I guess it is in my plot so am now behind the curve - just started spraying everything w/baking soda water. the ground around w/ weak cl2 water and some soap w/alcohol and neem oil. hope i don't loose everything. Have picked off most of infected leaves and disposed.............

I am not sure how effective your treatment is going to be. Seems awful weak to me. You might consider using Bill's bleach spray method.
http://tomatoville.com/showthread.ph...t=bleach+spray It works good and last year would have lost all my crop without his remedy. Using it this year as needed too. The heat and humidity bringing the diseases out and weak plants bring the bugs. What's good is this method good for so many types of crops. |

Just don't freak like I did first time I used it last year. I thought I had killed my plants. Just spray everyday and in a few days you will see all the diseased leaves start to curl up and die or show the ones infected. Just remove, bag and destroy them. Your plants may look pathetic for a little bit, but in no time they will produce new leaves and blossoms.
Depending on how bad your situation is, you may want to use a weaker solution to start with and increase if necessary. Good luck! |

thanks, i see i have burnt a few rhubarb and green bean leaves - and a few tomato leaves also. but things look better already. i did spray some Draconil also(did not want to). maybe add some copper stuff if i have too - will keep up with the cl2 but as you say maybe weaken a bit.

I have had better results in preventing most diseases by alternating copper and Daconil sprays. The bleach spray is a plant saver when the fungicides fail but should be followed up by a fungicide the next day. Below is a link to the bleach treatment method.
