Thai Hot Ornamental?

I got seeds that had Thai Chili written on the plastic bag - two years ago. I grew them last year and saved seeds for this year. Again grew those seeds. Are these Thai Hot or Thai Hot Ornamental? I want to share seeds, so I want to label them correctly.

They look like ornamental to me.
You should ferment some.

Looks like the Thai Hot Ornamental that I have, I had one that kept going for five years.

Doing some research for another thread here, I learned that there are some seventy (70) varieties of pepper indigenous to Thailand. Thus "Thai Chili" is practically meaningless. I'm not sure that "Thai Ornamental" is any better. Neither is the real name.

Now, IMO, that doesn't look like an ornamental pepper. But who knows what the original namer/labeler intended?

I think ornamental. I have never seen a bird pepper that size used for cooking in Thailand. The reds I have seen are longer and skinnier.

That is where my confusion started. They look nothing like Thai Hot http://www.tomatogrowers.com/THAI-HOT/productinfo/9370/ In fact, Thai Hot look a lot like Riot once they ripen red. http://www.tomatogrowers.com/RIOT/productinfo/9177/

They do look like Thai Hot Ornamental http://www.tomatogrowers.com/THAI-HO...ductinfo/9580/ but they are an inch a half long.

Maybe things do grow bigger in Texas? (Kidding)

I am agreeing with you all that say it is Ornamental. I could see these being grown in a flower/decorative bed.
