Richard,
This year I am growing 5 seeds I saved from the Moie-Moie mix you sent me, plus Gardensup Moie (his selected Moie-Moie offspring) and my very own produced MysteryX TPS. I HOPE I get more yield this time around since I love the maori long storage and frost resistance genes.

Hi Wendy,You are right , they do bounce back well after a frost. I only just 5 mins ago i dug up some Moie moie for a meal and there in among the plants was a unwanted Mystery plant, ive got a block of Mystery planted way down the end of our property under the neighbours central pivot which jets water about 20metres into the sheeps paddock, i dont want it to cross with Moie moie but its so hard to get rid of every plant because its such a vigorous strong potato.

Hi Richard,

I am growing back the one tuber from Moie-Moie TPS you've sent me in 2014. This is the 2nd year clonar growth since Nathan Pierce grqciously grew it in 2015 and sent ut back to me again. The plant is tall but not erect. I will know more in few months now is about to set flowers. This was like a gem with Lavender and cream skin.. Not resembles Moie-Moie.

I am growing the rest of the original seed to see what I get.

Hi Wendy, summer just gone i inter planted a two Moie moie TPS grown plants amoung the parent clones, both plants in the end towered over the clones and didn't grow much in the way of stolons which is what i'm after, previous TPS plants have produced plants with stolons of three metres and more. The two plants produced good crops of mainly white skin but had a small amount of red colouring, somewhat like the lavender and cream skin you said. Even though they dont have the taste of the parent clone/s i will still use them again as the are great TPS berry producers and hopefully with more pollination mixing from parent clone/s they might throw some seed worth considering. So far haven't produced a TPS that tastes as good as the Moie moie clone/s
