Default funny shaped fruit

What would cause the stem end of a tomato to be smaller then the tomato in general. Almost looks like the tomato kept growing normally, but the stem end stopped, causing a smaller round top to the tomato. The variety is Celebrity. Would it be weather related?

If it is just one incident, I would call it a mishap. It happens all the time in various forms and shapes in the plants world.

I don't have a way to get a picture right now. Thanks for the thoughts. I thought maybe it was from a spray weed killer drift, so I feel much better now.
