Is that pot buried into the ground? Do you cut the bottom out of the pot, or just place a number of large holes for the roots to go out?

Started picking a week ago. It's the best tasting tomato I've harvested so far. Somewhat of a thick skin but has the taste.
Finally beginning to dry out and heat up. Flavor should only get better.
Picture shows a potted plant averaging 6-8 oz. fruit. I grew another in a larger stock tank.
These are topping out close to a pound. I'll be saving plenty of seed. Let me know if you need any.
BJ, Glad you like it.

Hi,
Does this have the smooth texture almost like ripe avocado that Kellogg's Breakfast has?
If so can I beg seeds?
Thanks

I may have crossed seed--I picked about a half dozen a couple days ago, but closely inspecting them, besides being somewhere between golf ball to tennis ball size, (I'm growing them in ~4 gallons of soilless mix), they appear to be PINK! I'll try to take a pic when I get a chance.

They are pretty early, somewhere around 60-70 days max--I don't have the exact plantout date but nothing made it in until after June 1st, but possibly mid June; if using June 1st, that would be 9 weeks this past Wednesday. They were deep inside the foliage near a Walmart marshmallow stick used for a label & support while the plants were young--I never had a chance or need to remove it.

I don't know if ami is still posting on this one or not. I started saving seeds from those in the picture and the very first slice made me a believer! The aroma of a fully ripe one cut open is absolutely exquisite! The smell reminded me of Joe's Plum, another killer variety...

There are many more on the plant but I will assume it may be crossed because of the clear skin, tho maybe growing these seeds next year may get an orange. I will have to grow a couple in-ground in a good spot or in a half barrel to see what happens.
