Default Casey's Pure Yellow

....never disappoints me! Very meaty, sweet and so juicy! The first 4 large fruits I harvested were 545g (19.22 oz.), 542g(19.12), 346g (12.2), 262g (9.2)

I grew this a few years ago and agree that it was an excellent tomato. Tasty tomato and was a very healthy plant.

For some reason I could not upload this file to my original post. But here is a picture of the cut fruit.

I am growing this variety again this year and agree that it is an exceptional variety. I have harvested many large juicy sweet tomatoes, but I seem to have a little more pink on the blossom end. Don't last long on the counter for me and need to be eaten soon after harvest.

Okay, the photos convinced me I MUST grow these finally, next year. Every year I tell myself, maybe this time, but with limited space and also the fear that maybe they won't grow well in my zone, I sadly put the seeds aside. And I got them from you Jeff, your namesake tomato! They look soooooo delicious!

We have had a very cloudy July so I think that influenced the amount of pink on the blossom end.

You must try them as I think they will perform even better for you in your climate.

PS Thanks again for the seeds for zeitaku. I am still on the fence about this variety, lol.

Any idea how this would do in a hot/humid climate? Could always adjust starting seeds in October for the hot part, but still have big humidity.

CPY sets well in my greenhouse better than many other large fruited varieties so I think it should perform for you too.

Great to know this will do good in my climate, I can't wait to try it then!
Jeff, I didn't even grow Zeitaku this year. Had high hopes for it, maybe the name was too overrated, ha ha. I'll give it one more chance.

Good to know. I was wondering the same thing as Barb. That's a nice looking tomato and one that sure needs to be tried down here.
