This makes sense, we saw susceptibility to TYLCV in Mexico two winters ago with Orange Jazz, but the other Jazz types were even more susceptible.

This spring I planted OJ only in EB and Jazz in EB and RootPouches. Jazz was way more productive in the RootPouches but I finally learned that I run out of food in the EB's and was using the EB for the favorite status.

I haven't found lots of reds that I love. My tops are probably Neves Acorean Red, Cuostralee, and George Detsikas Italian Red (not necessarily in that order). I could be accused of being al ittle prejudiced re. George's, but I truly do love that tomato, and not just because I introduced it.

I'm just now seeing the link for the 'kickstarter' type listing so yes, it did get lost in this posting #18...

Still 22 days to go. I'll be joining, just busy heading out of town for the 4th weekend...
I will also suggest it gets a new solo header listing as i may have missed it.

I have been trialing reds for decades and finding really good ones that can also tolerate our heat have made it very frustrating. Over the years I have found a few that are really outstanding most years and will list them in the order of best tasting first but that is just my preference.

Couilles de Taureau
Dester (has a tendency to excessive foliage disease every year)
Red Barn
Neves Azorean Red
Arkansas Traveler
Delicious
Tarasenko-6
Zogola
Donskoi (heart)
Druzba

Default Red favs

I am not sure how many red beefsteaks I have tried, but my two favorites are Chapman and Delicious. I get nice looking fruit from them, they have great flavor, and they yield well. In short, I have very few sub par fruit from these two red beefsteaks.
I would love to compare these to that very pretty tomato.

Delicious , the choice of Bill and Mark , I like that.
Few weeks ago I bough the tomato from farmers market and saved seeds from.
I liked the texture and flavor as good old tomato taste.
My other addition ( from farmers market ) is French Ox heart : Coeure de Boeuf.
Then I will pick one of the three : Big Beef , Better Boy , Big Boy. No decision on those yet.
