Piquillos?

I saved seed from an overwintered piquillo that had WAY more heat than I expected. I had six plants this year, with some variety plant size, and in pod earliness, size and shape.

Are piquillos considered hybrids?

I did some looking and it doesn't seem to be a hybrid but yous dont look like them.
Are these the ones from saved seeds if so they could have crossed on you.

Thanks! Some look more piquillo than others. All have been tasty, but I might start with store bought seed next year.

Not hybrid but they get hot under stress. I had unhappy customers after near freezing temperatures.

Anyway, those look too long
