I cant think of a better thing to do with white bass.
To me they are nasty fishy tasting things.
I know I must have gobbled them up as a kid but somehow I lost a taste for them.

I like bass, Trout, Tilapia, snappers,.

Actually Tiapia is very tasty with NO small bones to get stuck in your throat like Croaker's. And it is not as expensive.

I always ate black bass growing up from our spring fed bass ponds and the creek.
In the summer and spring my dad would let me out at the creek and pick me up miles down stream that evening right before the sun went down.
Wade fishing all the way.
I remember one year it was 1979 I got washed down the Texas Colorado river about a mile before I could get out.
My oldest brother had no idea where I went, one minute I was there the next I was gone.
Where on earth did you go?
I walked into a hole.
Came back with my bait and tackle plus fish.
I can swim like a fish.

I like fish better than some red meat. I cal buy fish fillet , large shrimp for a bit more than ground beef. Don't get me wrong I love them Texas steaks, now and then, I've got lots of oak wood to grill on a good medium-rare stake, with bloody juice dripping off of it.
