Tomato Wind Protection

I used 1/2 of a burlap sack around the cage on some of my tomatoes. Not sure if it helped. Poor record keeping or memory.

Here's an update on the palm frond wind protection. The fronds have turned brown but they are still slowing down the south winds and the plants are looking good.

About a week ago we had pretty good winds gusting up to 30 mph.
I just had some small bamboo (thicker than pencil) stuck around them. And tied them together with twine. It worked ok.
Poor plants ( ~ 12- 15" tall ) took some whipping. But all went well.
