Does anyone know what happened to the EarthBox forum? I haven't looked at it for a while but I used to really enjoy it.

Earth Box is just a container form.
It should belong in the "Containter Growing " forum, I think.

Do you mean the forum on EarthBox's website?

I did a google search and found a link that said the page had crashed and needs fixed.
I think it may no longer exist. It's been quite awhile since I've seen it, as well.

Thanks! And yes, this is the site owned and operated by Earthbox, which is indeed under new ownership. Been about two years now. They also have a Facebook page and said they would post there when it is up and running again.

That is a really great list, Johnnyhat. This doesn't answer your question but just curious why you want to grow tomatoes in your earthbox. I used to live near you (on the Jersey side) and the soil in top notch. My friends at work at the Philly Navy Yard used to bring in homegrown tomatoes when I was a young mom living in an apartment. They had a 1.5 acre farm outside Yardley. They instructed me not to take an imperfect tomato if I was not going to use it. Those tomatoes gave me the gardening bug. I think that was the best soil of any of the zillions of states I've lived in since .

Here the season is a few weeks shorter. I am going to use my earthboxes, if I set them up, for extending the season for peppers that don't have time top ripen here in Nebraska. Another use I would consider is to plant eggplant in warm soil sooner.

I also have tons of stuff in 3 earthbox jrs so I can take them in and overwinter them.
