Default Czech Bush/anyone grow this

Short, stocky little thing. Has buds. When I ran out of room in the tomato bed, I started putting plants in nooks and crannies.

Very productive but nothing to write home about in the flavor department as I recall.

Thanks. They've GOT to be better better than the hard cardboard-tasting globes sold in the majority of grocery stores.

I grow it most years. Very productive with about 3oz+- red balls. Good seed producer too. Can't say on the taste as I don't care for red varieties.

Czech bush is old Czech variety (1941), whose correct name is Imun. Seeds sent to the United States in 1974 Milan Sodomka. I grew it in 2015 and tasted me. This year, I grow it again.

PS.: Vrba can be Czech name but also other Slavic. Do you know where they came from your father's ancestors?

One of the few tomatoes I didn't like and I love reds. Did get me interested in dwarfs and container tomatoes of which luckily most taste much better.

This is a surprise. Brno is my birthplace and also the whole time I live.

Nice tomato. it looks like you'll soon have ripe tomatoes. I have so far only a small little plant of Czech bush (4 "high) in the pot. When it larger I will send a picture.
