Here's my favorite. My wife & I moved back to the family farm in 1986 & we found this blade in an old smokehouse. I took it to work & epoxied a handle into it & I'm still using it all these years later. It's 18" overall length with a 12" blade. I lost it out of the 4-wheeler basket early last Fall and searched the farm (97 acres) from one end to the other. Even used a metal detector on the path I was on that day over & over. Finally gave up heartbroken that I had been so careless to lose it. Lo & behold early this spring I'm riding along after a spring rain & I see that black electrical tape shining on the ground. In a area that I had searched repeatedly. Most useful thing I have for the farm/garden. It won't happen again. Going to take good care of it. Last edited by wildcat62; April 29, 2017 at 07:42 PM. |

The other day at work for some reason I had my big Cold Steel knife at work and used it.
I couldn't find the knife after that and thought I had set it down and lost it. I couldn't figure that out either because always I use the knife and put it back in my pocket that is my rule so I wont lose them. It has been days and I decided to stop worrying about it because it was gone. I have had that knife since 2005. This morning I looked in a drawer for something and there it was where I always keep it. I have no idea how it got there but there it was. Worth |

Worth--I can relate. I thought my favorite SOG Micron II that just fit in the watch pocket of my jeans had been lost in the garden somewhere. Almost a year later I found it under my easy chair. Gave me an excuse to buy more knives in the interim, though. A watch pocket knife is handy and finding a good one isn't easy.

My Mom had misplaced her garden cutters and thought she accidentally dropped them in the trash..
When I went to visit my parents yesterday, she was upset about them and I promised to help in the search operation. She had already looked for them everywhere.. I found them by the entrance in a small holder that had keys, shoehorns etc... No idea how the tool had got there - Mom blamed my Dad and he vehemently denied having any knowledge of it.. Parents |

I see you have an eye for a good knife gdaddybill! I pack the Dragonfly where ever I go - just got a brand new one! I'd be lost without it. We also have a pair off scissors in the GH but this knife does a great job of cutting suckers!

No you can't.
These are the two I carry at all times. Cold steel pro lite and a Case. Worth IMG_20170503_3468.jpg |
