I do have something to be thankful for... stinky garlic! No socks needed.

Well Bill's Bleach saved my plants, I gave haircuts to the first row yesterday at least a third of the foliage had died on most plants. The only plant I may loose is a Wes which wasn't doing well anyway. The second 100' row of tomatoes was planted about a week and a half later and didn't get the disease near as bad as the first row. Thanks Bill! You're a hero!

If I would have waited any longer to spray with bleach it would have been a disaster.

Cutting out dead leaves yesterday, I noticed quite a few of these bugs on underside of leaves, I'm guessing the pink bugs are aphids...

I found a big colony of them on one okra plant today right at the tender top.
Out came the sevin spray just on that top.

My okra is about 3" tall,it will be awhile for my first harvest. Dug 150 garlic heads today and a bushel basket of carrots though, life is good!

Money is on seed garlic, I'm seeing $15.95 for a half pound. This is for your Best/ Biggest... eat the rest. I'm doing tons of bubils also.

Those pink bugs are called potato aphids and I had them for the first time this year. However they are not plant killers unless you have a very heavy infestation.

I only have 12 plants so I was able to control them by washing them off with a stream of water from the hose several days in a row until they were gone.

I think that Neem works on them.
