Some of my favorite birds, with their pugnacious little "Kiss my tookis" attitude. We had a pair that yearly nested under our covered back deck, above a sea of cats. They had anywhere from 2-5 come to maturi.. well.. adolescence. Here' a shot of the nest and eggs, with one busted out.
