Awesome. Thank you for the link. It confirms everything reason I failed. I am now growing some non-gmo hybrids from U.H. Manoa. But would love to be able to venture back to the heirlooms. I did get rid of all my dirt (potting mixes). I now use clayballs, coco coir & perlite. All have netural ph and with fox farms" grow big " as a drip system my plants are looking great. I really don't seem to have any insect issues, so far.
