DTM's for Rouge d'Irak, Patio Orange

I know dtm's are variable, but I wanted some idea on these two varieties. I just got them from Baker Creek, and am germinating some varieties in a week and some are almost ready to go into their containers. So if you have any experience with these two, pls let me know how they did for you, dtms, etc.

I grew both of those plants last year (mine were also from Baker Creek). Patio Orange was disappointing; it loaded up with tomatoes but almost every one had BER. You might have better luck if you're putting it in the ground. I grew mine in a 5 gallon bucket.

Rouge d'Irak was fabulous. It was a high yielder, and the tomatoes had excellent flavor. They were firm tomatoes, though, and not very juicy. I will definitely being growing them again at some point. I didn't keep good enough records to give you DTM, but they ripened mid-season for me.

Joel-Thanks for the info. Do you remember how tall these two varieties got and how wide?

Patio Orange was small. Maybe 2 1/2 feet tall, and compact. I used one of the cheap Walmart wire tomato cages on it, and it was fine.

The Rouge d'Irak got pretty big. Maybe 6 1/2 feet tall, and it spilled out of its 2.5 foot diameter CRW cage.

Oh No Michael is off to cull that big ole plant, if I know him that is way toooo big for his liking
