Default How much does the color vary?

My Black Cherry tomatoes are maturing, and I was expecting to see a much darker color. Will they become darker and darker as they mature? How much does color vary in Black Cherry? If there are a lot of color variations, then what are the typical causes of the variations?

Thanks!

Hilde

IN general, those in the south see a much darker color with the so called blacks than we do here in the north.

The reason most often given is stronger UV in the south. I can't speak to that but I do know that the blacks turn darker color in the south.

The last Black Cherry to the left in that truss is getting pretty dark and mine are always darker than even that one.
