If I have to sanitize another post from this thread, I'm going to ban without further warning.
I expect everyone here to treat others with respect, even if you disagree with their opinion. You know who you are.

Where I worked at they had the little carrots they called baby carrots like you see in the store.
This stuff was supplied by SYSCO. They had a slight off taste of diesel. The ones I buy in the store dont taste like this. Someone told me that they sprayed diesel around the carrots. I dont believe this due to who it came from. Can someone here tell me why these carrots had an after taste of diesel? Please. Worth |

Today I received a visit from the state agricultural agency re: my citrus trees. It seems our property is on a registry of citrus.
Like it or not, they applied two insecticides: one was a neem cinnamon combo, the other imidacloprid. I informed them it had been banned in the EU. Alas, we are not in the EU. They were cool. As you can see, it's a joint program, and likely a measure to protect California crops. |

Well that solved one of the problems that you have been battling....but I'm not so sure that I would like them making those decisions for me on my property.

Yes, I used to run through that too... And just look at us now....
I think that if I received a visit from the state, I would go get my chain saw and cut down the tree right in front of them. I would then tell the men to spray it all that they liked, to get off of my property and to take the darned tree and bugs with them. There all problems solved. Now I think that I will go clean out my fridge. I have a few lemons and such in there. Yuk

I take:
1 litre water ( a quarter gallon) 1 tabelspoon rapeseed oil ( or an other plant oil) (perhaps neemoil) 1 splash washing-up liquid (to get an emulsion) a teaspoon spirit (to let the pores of the leafes open) when fungus are: 5 gram (or a teaspoon) baking soda spray your plants 3 times in an interval from 3 days. After that the plants don't look very nice, but after a week they get healthy. |
