Mini white cucumber
I tried these seeds and wow, these are really a nice
small cuke, cool color, white w/ a yellow dot on the stem end, pale lime seed cavity and good flavor. Took a beating in a hail storm so they are a little ragged looking but so far, no wilt, etc. Seeds are from SSE. Anyone else grow these little gems? Definitely will grow a lot next year. Piegirl |

Piegirl,
Sounds interesting. How long are they on average? DTM? Zana |

Hi,
I really want to try those and just didn't get a chance to order them for this year. Now I'm even more interested in them with your positive report. Tree

They only grow to about 3 inches and increase in width
rather than length, and forgot to mention, they are quite crisp. highly recommend. Others are showing sign of powedery mildew but not on these. Piegirl |

I grew these cukes last year. This year, I sold my house in July, so I didn't have any cukes at my previous house. By the time that I moved into my new house it was too late to plant any.
I will definitely grow this variety every year. Even my 1.5 year niece loved these cukes. She was teething at the time, so we served them to her whole very cold with the skins peels. She liked these cukes so much that she cried when we took them away (to replace with a new one). These cukes really do not need be peeled. Just slice them and eat. As a precaution we only peeled them for the baby. |
