Default Earliest ever for me!!

Never had a ripe tomato in the 1st week of June. Because of the warm temperatures in the spring I planted out 2 weeks ahead of time and took a chance. It worked out pretty good.
this Pink Berkeley Tie Dye has another day on the vine before I pick it because I don't want it to get cracked from the upcoming rain. This picture was taken yesterday and it looks even better today!
One of the best tasting tomatoes in my garden.

It can be scary planting out early because that warm weather can always return to cold. I was kicking myself for starting my seeds too early this year but it worked out perfectly as we had an exceptionally warm month of May, again. My tomatoes have set fruit and are 3-4 ft tall already! Mind you the lawn looks like mid-July being parched and turning golden.

That PBTD looks terrific!

Ginger, in one day she really turned. Picking tonight. Possible rain coming and I will NOT take a chance of the first one splitting! Lol

Same with me PlainJane. I get a few off of her then she slowly dies....every year. BUT it is one of my favs for taste. As far as the darks go, it’s behind Cherokee Purple but most are. Lol
Some of them are visually stunning too.
