Jobe's tomato spikes
Has anyone tried these? I was checking prices on Tomato Tone and found these cheap. 18 fertilizer spikes for a little over $3 and feeds for 8 weeks. It would be easier to add more fertilizer when needed with this vs scratching it in the ground.

Nobody??
I just ordered a 50 pack for $6, I figure it's worth a shot for the price. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...68d352bf0b6201

Sorry that I cannot help, but thanks for mentioning it because I'm going to try some too. It's so difficult to keep the container tomatoes fertilized, especially with our marauding hungry dawgs who have been known to dig "yummy" stuff!

I use them but mainly in my pond plants. I really don't know how good they work but feel safe using them in the pond because I can cover then up with rocks to keep the Koi from eating them. I occasionally pop a few here and there in my smaller potted plants.

I have used them multiple summers when I have to be away for several weeks and can't do my regular weekly feedings. Easy and inexpensive way to make sure plants are getting some nutrients.

I used Neudorff sticks for my indoor micro tomato plants. They're great, no mess and they do the job.

Years ago I think I bought 18 for $1. I used them by putting them in a heavy duty zip lock bag, smashing them up with a hammer, and then using it as granular fertilizer. I've heard that the spikes, as is, can cause root burn.
