Comparisons please?
I'm trying to narrow down some choices. Between the two varieties listed below which is better.
1. Green Giant OR Aunt'Ruby's German Green 2. White Queen OR Great White Thanks in advance, Grace E. |

One year at Tomatopalooza[tm] we had a large selection of the green when ripe tomatoes present. At the time, Green Giant was one of the top two in terms of flavor, and that includes direct comparison toe ARGG.
I have grown it, along with another great green when ripe Spear's Tennessee Green, and have loved the flavor. Production is good. So my answer to your first question is Green Giant is better based only on flavor. I can't remark on the second as I've not grown either and I don't recall the taste tests results for either at Tomatopalooza[tm]. Lee

I'd say Green Giant and Great White... but we all have different tastes and desires, so take my opinion with multiple grains of salt.

I've tried Green Giant and ARGG. Green Giant is gone from my garden, while Aunt Ruby is a staple. At market, Aunt Ruby is the one that convinces folks that GWR tomatoes are delicious.

I'm hijacking your thread to recommend Humph if you're looking for an amazing GWR tomato.
