It's tough to choose!
OK Tomatovillians,
I have reached the crossroads. I started a bunch of plants and have limited (container) space, four pots. St. Pierre and Santa Clara Canner are now in the ground. Only two pots left! Which to give away? Which to plant? Andes Dufresne (Savignac) (tried 2018, got blight, didn't remember how it tasted) Ernesto Prue Rinaldo Rose Quartz (not multiflora) (too late to start Sugar Lump?) Thanks! GTG |

Flip a coin....before it lands you will know which plant you were rooting for.

If it was me (which it isn't) Prue and Rinaldo.

Thanks, nathan and retiree. I was leaning towards both Prue (though in my experience it's late and not that productive) and Rinaldo.
One gets a 15 gal. pot and the other the 7 gal. Ernesto is great, but I thought I'd give Rinaldo another try. |

Call me an enabler but couldn't you buy a couple more pots?
I always end up with way too many plants. Every year I tell myself I'm only planting the exact number of seeds I want plants for. Every year I end up planting a "few" extra just in case and every year I end up growing every single one that germinates. |

The extra plants were left this morning in a box at curbside (labeled "Free Tomato Plants!" with brief descriptions of each variety) and were snapped up in a few hours. Only plant left was a late-sprouting Dufresne that doesn't yet have true leaves. I have started Sugar Lump (very late) and I might squeeze in these two. GTG |

How nice of you to share with the neighborhood! I'm sure you can squeeze in one or two more pots.
